I heard someone say that today our country was returned…. a return to normality. I understand what they meant, but I had to disagree. Today was not normal, today was extraordinary. Today, I held my oldest daughter and cried while I watched @kamalaharris change the world forever. Today, I listened to the words of @amandascgorman and was reminded of the promise of a new day and the clear vision of our youth. Today, I watched @joebiden take the oath of office with @drbiden by his side and I was moved by their example of love and faith. Today I was inspired by the thought of what we can all be together…tomorrow. ♥️🤍💙

I was able to find fun, educational printables online and the kids enjoyed talking about Dr. King and why we have this holiday to remember him. #mlk #blm

I remember September 11, 2001, as a day when we faced our greatest fear as a nation, but also as a day that we came together. We watched helplessly as both our fellow Americans and those from all parts of the world lost their lives in the attacks. We prayed for our first responders as they bravely charged towards certain danger. It was a time of uncertainty and our future felt in jeopardy, but we came together and out of that tragedy was born resilience and hope. The recent public displays of antisemitism in this country, brought on THIS TIME by a certain public figure are sickening. Unfortunately they are not new, far from it, and they have been growing.
