My remarks at the U.S. Capitol press conference after almost unanimous passage of resolution H.CON.RES.7 commending the courage of the Iranian people. 420 Members of Congress voted for and only 1 member voted against this resolution. Thank you @repclaudiatenney, @repjoshg and @congressman_mccaul for your bipartisan leadership on this. It already opened the door for the #MAHSAact to be reintroduced in Congress after this was passed, and hopefully further punitive actions will now be taken against perpetrators in the regime
