Nathalie Kelley Instagram – Thank you @riise.world for putting me on your cover this month and giving me the opportunity to discuss story-telling for justice amongst other topics. I started my No New Clothes challenge in 2020 after learning about the horrific working conditions and environmental pollution behind the majority of the clothes we buy and wear. Since then I have come to see the importance of supporting the minority of brands who are doing it right. Oftentimes these brands are innovating new technologies in sustainable fibers, or employing artisans and rescuing culturally important traditions. So I am grateful to @riise.world for being a thoughtfully curated retail platform that has done the hard work of sourcing truly sustainable brands for us.
