Who is she?
Eir a powerful female character inspired by Elhaz, the elk rune. Eir is a fierce warrior who embodies the strength and agility of the elk, as well as the protective and nurturing energy of the feminine divine. Eir is a skilled hunter and tracker, with a keen sense of awareness and intuition. She moves with grace and precision, like the elk that she admires and emulates.
Eir is a healer, using the knowledge of the natural world to create remedies and potions that can heal both physical and emotional wounds.
Despite her warrior nature, Eir is deeply connected to the feminine divine and sees her role as a protector and nurturer as sacred. She is a mother to her children and a mentor to other young women in her community, teaching them the ways of the natural world and the power of the feminine spirit.

Who is she?
Last week, I met up with @kenpivak just to discuss the images we wanted to create together.
But Ken had brought his camera 📸, and we started taking pictures without any makeup, hair, or plan.
As we continued to shoot, we delved into various characters, discussing who they were, what they had been through, and their stories. What is she fighting for? What world is she living in?
For me, this approach to creating images is so liberating, allowing me to let my imagination run free.
I know who she is and how she feels – this character we created together.

My Viking roots run deep, and I’ve always felt a fierce connection to that part of my ancestry. I was told that my ancestral line goes back to Harald Bluetooth, the Viking King of Denmark. Who knows if that’s true, but when I did my DNA test, my results showed that I’m almost 100% from the same part of Denmark where he lived and ruled. Just saying…😎 I don’t often share this side of myself because she is so divinely wild, unapologetically authentic, and has a free spirit that can be intimidating. But don’t let her scare you off – just make sure she’s on your side. 😏
Who knows what other Viking secrets lie in my ancestry? All I know is that she is wild. 🌿🌊🗡️🛡️
