Vanessa Carlton Instagram – Perhaps the book that has re acquainted me with reading like a human being again (rather than a raccoon where I go from back to front reading chunks of chapters #adhd). This book is astonishing. An honest portrayal of the roller coaster that is a mother/daughter relationship. Also, Michelle writes about food in a way where I am somehow starving for Korean foods I’ve never tried even after downing a king size peanut M & M bag. I cried a few times throughout this book. The last cry was during her thank you’s. She’s that kind of writer: artful, sensorial, utterly captivating and most importantly she never tells you how to feel, she just let’s you feel it. @jbrekkie just laid it down.
