I wrote this song years ago for Brycie.. she’s been my girl for a long time and all I ever want is just to be close to her and in the world we are building together around the holidays..
So I thought it would be cool to start on image of me and the boys in @anthemlightsband old album cover and find her and that world.. and then out of nowhere and perfectly timed, my little man walks up to @bryciemarie and says this, “mommy, he’s singing about you” — man.. I don’t know what made him think of that.. I didn’t even know he knew that.. maybe I told him along the way somewhere or maybe his little romantic heart just got it right.. either way.. what a moment
I’m a lucky man. This is all Christmas ever needs to be and all I ever hope it is.
