Jay Cutler Instagram – So one thing I really wanted to focus on was trying to bring the “cap” back to my delts.
Throughout my career I was always known for having the BOULDER SHOULDERS, in fact, many would agree it could be one of my best body parts. Since I retired just under 10 years ago I have lost that “fullness” and that capped look.
Well 2023 is here and my goal is to attain my best shape in 10 years, so here we go with my current routine to hammer these shoulders to bring back at least something from the competitive years!!
Seated or standing side laterals: 4 sets of 12 reps
Dumbbell or machine press.. 4 sets of 8 to 12
Front bar raise: 4 sets of 12 reps
Side cable behind the back raise: 3 sets of 12 each arm
Reverse pec dec: 3 sets of 12 reps
Rear cable fly or bent over dumbbell laterals: 3 sets of 12 reps
I sometimes will mix it up but this is my current schedule. Shoulders are done on that day only finished by some steps for 20 min
