Today i got a text on set. “There’s an active shooter at the school.”
After my knees buckled.
I sought prayer with my crew here in Charlotte.
Once I found out it wasn’t my son’s small Christian school in #Nashville, it was another nearby school. I immediately thought of Jackie and Mark Barden. I thought about #sandyhookpromise
I called Mark (on the phone) like I do. He answered. He comforted me. Offered his heart to helping our community to heal.
I’ll be on set tomorrow but leave me a comment or dm if you’d like to hear the solutions they’ve come up with since Sandy Hook.
My heart goes out to #Nashville – to the families who lost someone today.

My 20s felt like such a mess. Mostly because of a very unsteady and unpredictable relationship with myself. Which was a domino effect for everything else.
I didn’t trust.
I didn’t believe.
I didn’t truly love.
The last 10 years though have been…different.
With me.
With him.
With us.
Not that it’s always been easy..far from
it.
But there is a foundation and steadfast BELIEF that I chose to cultivate within myself.
And with that, got to see, feel and experience it within him.
A knowingness.
A trust.
A belief.
Because when you change the script of your life… the script changes.
Not just for you, but for everyone in your life, too.
My relationship and marriage became a part of my life I no longer had to smother with co-dependency, fear, anxiety, chaos and control.
Instead…I let me evolve, and let him evolve, and let it ALL evolve….while loving myself every step of the way.
And above all, I allowed beautiful and pure acceptance into my life.
For me, this is true intimacy and love.
With myself.
With him.
With life.
And it requires a real honorship and ownership.
