Amrit Kaur Instagram – Last year, I visited my former high school drama teacher’s classroom to talk about acting. After class finished, a young 16 year old girl came up to me and wanted to keep talking. She was so excited about art, life, and activism.
I turned to my former teacher and asked, “Who is she?” “Well that’s Jade,” she said. “Oh, and she’s a brilliant rap artist.”
I am sharing a piece written, performed and edited for a school project about Black History Month by this very talented young artist. Can’t wait to hear the next one. xo
