It was an honor learning about the incredible work that UNMAS has taken on across the world and we were very fortunate to speak to several NGO team members and ambassadors from SE Asia on the matter. Also wanted to thank @morley_nelson, @richardfitoussi, and the entire team from their upcoming documentary, “Walking Without Fear”, for inviting us to be a part of the amazing film they have spent years working on to bring greater awareness to this issue. Millions of people around the world are affected by the placement of landmines and the post-war impacts they have on innocent communities after soldiers have left the battlefields. Many countries, such as Cambodia, Laos, and Vietnam to name a few, are still in the process of clearing millions of landmines from their lands, and it is only with greater awareness and funding that this issue may one day be gone. This was a cause that was very important to Princess Diana leading up to her passing, and is an issue that Prince Harry has continued to fight for to this day to build upon her legacy. If you want to help make a difference, please head to the @un_mineaction page to find more information and resources on how you can help create a mine-free world. We’ll be posting a YouTube video soon to share our trip and what we learned with you all. xx Thank you to the @unitednations and @un_mineaction team for inviting us to the United Nations Mine Action Summit last week.
