Mary Katharine Ham Instagram – A math trick I learned while teaching my oldest her multiplication tables. I know many kids have a hard time just memorizing lists of numbers, so maybe this can help some of your kids, and if not, it’s just kinda cool! My daughter really thrived once she had this trick to jog her memory. For other times tables, we use pictures and stories to help her remember (more on that if anyone’s interested) and slowly but surely, she’s getting to quick recall. It’s just a matter of how you get those things to stick in your brain, and different things work for different brains. I discovered it by accident in the middle of the night and I was so happy! Also, I’m training this baby to take a pacifier. The last one didn’t like one and neither did he right away, but I’m slowly convincing him. He’s a fussier baby than his sister and I figure this might cut my toddler crying by roughly 50% when they’re both irrational. I need tools!
