Today was indeed special!
It was a parent-child talent show at his school around the theme of health!
It was fun being on stage with my Littloo @kavishmehra
The best day ever since I’ve had my accident & surgery!
I went to my make up room, got ready, wore make-up for the first time in 20 days!
Me & Kavish had prepared a health song called “The Sparkle Song”.
Since I was mostly under heavy medication I couldn’t arrange or practice with props, so we decided to wear our best smiles and carry our energetic spirits along 😊
The centre-head, teachers and staff, and the happy parents were ever-so-courteous, warm and helpful in accommodating a wheelchair-mommy and for that I have #gratitude for such humbling experiences!

Have been on heavy painkillers and pretty groggy but will share my entire experience on my YouTube channel soon!

Appreciation Post!
By now, after watching my last reel most of you know, I broke 2 bones of my leg and am in recovery!
I got injured around 6pm on the 4th of March at the Cricket League match!
I went to the nearest preferred hospital which was the Ambani Emergency Care!
The pain of the breaking of bones was beyond my pain threshold, which is actually pretty high.
In that pain, I knew right from the cricket turf where I got injured, until I reached the ER, that I wanted only Dr. Ashish Jain to treat me!
I was told surgery and decided to go all the way to P.D. Hinduja, Mahim from Andheri only because I trust him immensely. Over the years I have seen him treat my mum (who says “main toh Doctor Ashish Jain ki shakal dekh kar hi theek ho jaati hoon).
I took an ambulance and finally after bearing the pain for about 9 and a half hours (ofcourse with morphine and other strong pain-killers which felt like no relief), I was admitted at P.D. Hinduja!
I did this only because of faith and this faith in today’s world is precious! It gives me hope and strengthens my belief!
Thank you doc for being an inspiration to so many, patients, co-workers, and all the people you meet, you leave an imprint like no other! Stay this way! @jackeddoc
Can’t wait to see you today with your warm smile that makes me forget all my pain!

Update on my recovery from the accident where I had multiple fractures on my left leg, followed by surgery where a rod was implanted from my knee to my ankle!
I am taking good care of myself!
The swelling & pain both are better by 75% and the scans that are being done to track the progress of my bones, are positive!
Painkillers have been considerably reduced and my drowsiness has gone!
I walk with the walker and can’t put weight on my fractured leg yet but, soon I will be wheelchair bound and then there’s no stopping me! I can then go to the mall, coffee shop, salon and take Kavish out for his weekends!
I have also started working on my YouTube channel slowly, picking from where I left, although plans have changed but what is life without a few improvisations and tweaks!
Today I feel better, tomorrow I shall feel stronger & then together we shall #SpreadTheLove ♥️
A BIG bear hug to each of my well-wishers!
And for those who feel this is “KARMA” I am glad, I am paying it off with grace!
My faith is unshakeable in HIM 🙏

My days at home…look like this…
Don’t remember when I stayed at home for this long, don’t remember when I didn’t put make up or do my nails for these many days, don’t remember lying in the bed for so many hours, don’t remember feeling the afternoon breeze in the living room and slowing down so much!

First Visit To The Mall Post-Op

Grandmothers are special!
I called her Amma ❤️🩹
She was a happy soul, loved to meet new people, entertain my friends and feed me with her hands!
My favourite memory of her is when she would feed me ‘Bhatt Ka Saag’ in the Lohey-Ki-Kadhai scraping the sides and mixing it with chawal. All the pahadis would know what I am talking about.
She made me listen to stories from Ramayana and Mahabharata.
She was my teddy-bear and I would love to hug her and keep my little leg on her big tummy when I was small.
Whenever, I would meet her, I would always paint her toes in pearl white colour! She had the prettiest feet ever!
I was privileged to watch her hair go from salt and pepper to an all-white!
Her smile and energy were contagious!
She was 90+ and passed away peacefully yesterday, 13-03-2023 🙏
I was due to meet her post my Cricket league on the 4th, and also take Kavish and mom to meet her at the ICU in her last days but my accident restrained me from my travel, as I have gone through a surgery where a rod has been inserted to join 2 of my broken bones, am on bedrest!
I shall always remember her fondly for all my memories, stories, chocolates, food, saving me from scoldings of other grown-ups and pampering me like a perfect grandmother!
Wishing the heavens a happy life in my jovial grandmama’s company!
I shall miss you forever Amma!
Thank you for choosing me as your granddaughter ❤️🩹🙏

It was a memorable short stay in Kathmandu, the land of the Himalyas!
Right from the walking tour of Thamel market which is at the heart of Katmandu where visitors can shop for everything from travel, trek, handicrafts and souvenirs,
I had lassi and street food, saw Newari architecture, visted a few UNESCO world heritage sites like the Boudanath Stupa, Pashupatinath Temple, saw Thangka paintings and took blessings from the monks and Kumari Goddess, met some wonderful locals and ate local cuisine.
