Nisha Rawal Instagram – ❤️‍🩹 Grandmothers are special! I called her Amma ❤️‍🩹 She was a happy soul, loved to meet new people, entertain my friends and feed me with her hands! My favourite memory of her is when she would feed me ‘Bhatt Ka Saag’ in the Lohey-Ki-Kadhai scraping the sides and mixing it with chawal. All the pahadis would know what I am talking about. She made me listen to stories from Ramayana and Mahabharata. She was my teddy-bear and I would love to hug her and keep my little leg on her big tummy when I was small. Whenever, I would meet her, I would always paint her toes in pearl white colour! She had the prettiest feet ever! I was privileged to watch her hair go from salt and pepper to an all-white! Her smile and energy were contagious! She was 90+ and passed away peacefully yesterday, 13-03-2023 🙏 I was due to meet her post my Cricket league on the 4th, and also take Kavish and mom to meet her at the ICU in her last days but my accident restrained me from my travel, as I have gone through a surgery where a rod has been inserted to join 2 of my broken bones, am on bedrest! I shall always remember her fondly for all my memories, stories, chocolates, food, saving me from scoldings of other grown-ups and pampering me like a perfect grandmother! Wishing the heavens a happy life in my jovial grandmama’s company! I shall miss you forever Amma! Thank you for choosing me as your granddaughter ❤️‍🩹🙏
