Enjoy this day with the people you love, don’t forget the people in need, don’t forget our Palestinians brothers and sisters who are fighting for their life right now…. pray for them and don’t stay quiet against INJUSTICE.
Don’t forget the people who are rarely visited, be the person who forgives when he has been hurt, who responds to hate with love, contempt with genuine interest, smile at those who don’t necessarily smile back at you … you don’t know the impact that a smile and a comforting word can have on that person.
Be an example to others, remember to always behave in an exemplary manner. This is how some people will take an interest in what makes you a better person.
I had the honor to spend my Ramadan and some prayers with my brother and best friend and I think it remains one of my happiest moments of this blessed month.
this year my ramadan was difficult because I felt alone in my practice and also cause I am the only Muslim in my family…but on the other hand, i was able to invoke my lord, get to know him, speak about him to the people who were interested about religion and especially I learn more than ever to not to despair of his mercy.
If you know any converts, don’t forget them during that amazing day. I know to much this “loneliness” that you can feel and the difficulty of being afraid of never finding your place and feel isolate from your Ummah. If one of us is suffering we should be able to be here for him / her.
Either way, it doesn’t matter what your beliefs are. I TRULY RESPECT , LOVE AND ACCEPT EVERYBODY.
May God bring peace in your heart, forgive you and fill you with His blessings in this life as in the next.
