Billy Jensen Instagram – My Dad died 24 years ago today. He was 50. I turn 50 in August. Pretty soon I’ll have spent more time on this earth without him than with him. And yet it feels like this picture was taken yesterday.
This is us at Disney World. I’m maybe 12. We are at the Contemporary Hotel and he wanted to get Space Mountain and Cinderella’s Castle in the background of the shot from this Polaroid camera selfie.
Dad always wanted to get pictures of us together and I could never understand why. I was always like—“but the sunset looks better without us in it.”
