I was pulling up to a random fitting one day and I truly had no idea where I was going. I knew I was booked and a costume was going to be specially made for me. Everything else was shrouded in NDA’s. I was told I’d have more paperwork to fill out before I went in so I arrived early. As I pulled into the lot and looked for where to go I saw a white sign that said Fitting Parking and I pulled in. And then I stopped breathing. As I glanced again at the sign I noticed a small symbol in the corner. A Star Wars symbol. Where the heck was I going?!?!?
I stroll into the outer office of the fitting. My phone is immediately confiscated and I’m handed a stack of papers to sign. Some words pop out at me… LUCAS FILMS. Oh. My. God.
I’m finally called back into the fitting and it starts as you might imagine. Measurements are taken. But then they keep taking them. So many measurements. So many numbers. I’m glad I’m not the one figuring this out. Then some wardrobe basics are brought in and I begin to put them on. A jumpsuit? What is this? Oh… body armor?? What is this?? A HELMET!!!??? I try to act cool with every ounce of my being. I could jump out of my skin. I could scream and run a lap around the room. I’M A MANDALORIAN.
That was just the beginning of my adventure. What started as a three day gig somehow magically turned into 16 days and nights as I joined a small group of Mandalorian’s that eventually became core.
It was some of the hardest work I’ve ever done. Some days I got home and I felt like I’d been hit by a train. My body hurt in places I didn’t know it could. I was exhausted. But I was truly the happiest I’d ever been.
Long days in body armor not taking it off except rare breaks. A jet pack!! Heat. Days you just got used to living in your own sweat. Long nights.. all night… cold. So cold. Early mornings. Arm workouts holding pieces of hair up while @cutmarc knotted and transformed me into a warrior every day.
But also instant friendships from surviving it all and sharing the desire to do it all again every day forever. The best crafty iced coffee you could dream of. And truly just the best crew working today. @themandalorian experience of a lifetime 💙

Authenticity is a collection of choices that we have to make every day. It’s about the choice to show up and be real. The choice to be honest. The choice to let our true selves be seen.

Hey! I’m Ellen. Thought I’d take a sec and re-introduce myself for anyone that’s new here.
I’m an actress and model based in Los Angeles. I grew up in Northern California and moved here about ten years ago. I began working in print and commercials in San Francisco, then Miami and abroad, before switching focus to TV an Film and moving to LA.
This last year I got to play a Mandalorian in Season 3 of the Disney show. I graduated from Antioch with a degree in Human Development. And I was also recruited by Playboy to be a bunny on their new creator-led platform. So it’s been an exciting time! ✨💗
I’m a really active and adventurous person. A year ago I started training at @zenkidojo and put on a gi for the first time. I just got my blue belt in BJJ and I was embarrassingly excited 🥋 and am just starting to get in the ring with my Muay Thai (barely 😅). I love hiking and camping and playing in the dirt. I can play just about any sport somewhat decently. Love animals. Will jump into watering holes and swim in the ocean. I’ve always been a bit rough and tumble. That said I also clean up somewhat decently as well 🛁💋 and have a bit of a thrifting addiction (sustainable fashion and living on a budget hellooooo 💫)
I’m extremely open minded and love all the interesting people we encounter in life. I’m passionate about living authentically, building genuine connections, expanding my own perspectives, and helping create space for others to do the same.
Ok that’s a bit about me!!!
Thanks for following along on my random adventure of a life. I’m happy you’re here and I’m looking forward to getting to know you better too 🥰
Please say hi in the comments! ✨✨✨ Los Angeles, California
