Sasha Sagan Instagram – This painting, by the wonderful @bylaurabaran, is based on a photo my husband took of me in May of last year. We were half a world away. It was warm. And I was six months pregnant. Now it’s cold. Our daughter walks and talks. And that moment in the Mediterranean Sea seems like both yesterday and like the faint memory of a dream upon waking.
