Layla placed this desert in the Cusipro Leakproof Glass Jars. Deconstructed Apple Crumble Recipe (4 jars)
Ingredients:
The Crumble
1 Cup Flour
3/4 Cup Brown sugar (dark or light)
1/2 tsp Cinnamon
1 tspBaking powder
1/2 tsp Salt
1/4 cup Melted butter
The Apple 🍎 Pie Filling
2 Apples (peeled, cored and sliced small and evenly)
2 tsp Brown sugar
1 tsp Maple syrup
1 tbsp Lemon juice
1 tsp Flour
2 tbsp Melted Butter
Directions:
The Crumble
In a bowl mix all your crumble ingredients, place on a tray with parchment paper in the oven at 375 for 10 minutes or until golden. Check frequently because you don’t want it to burn.
The Apple 🍎 Pie Filling
In bowl, mix all ingredients except for the butter. In a pot, melt butter and pour all ingredients into the pot once melted. Cool everything at a low heat until fully cooked and apples are sauce. Tip: Add a bit water to pot if it starts to burn.
Assemble:
In Cusipro Leakproof Glass Jars add a layer of crumble, then a layer of apple pie filling, topped with crumble. Finish it off with a scoop of vanilla ice cream and serve.
Vanilla Ice Cream Recipe:
1 cup Milk
1 3/4 cup Heavy Cream
3/4 cup Sugar
1 tbsp Vanilla Extract
Mix milk and sugar together, add the remaining ingredients and mix. In a plastic or metal container, pour your mixture. Place in freezer overnight. Scoop and serve.
