“Så tenner vi to lys i kveld, to lys for håp og glede”. . “We light two candles tonight, two candles for hope and joy”. . In Norway we light a candle every Sunday through Advent. A Norwegian writer, Inger Hagerup, has written a poem we read while lighting it. Each Sunday a new verse. This tradition has been with me since I was a child. Lighting the Sunday Advent Candle has been something I’ve looked much forward to growing up, and it’s been increasing the enthusiasm and excitement for Christmas. I took it very seriously as a young girl, lighting these candles for hope, joy, yerning and peace. And in the polarized world of today, as a grown woman, I find it even more meaningful. To stop for a second, give thanks for what I have, and light a candle for all that is good.

Utrolig glad og takknemlig for å være en del av denne fantastiske skuespillergjengen. Jeg tar av meg hatten for innsatsen, ærligheten, ydmykheten, nysgjerrigheten og motet til alle de fantastiske kollegene dere får se i denne serien. Dramaet utløses når karakteren jeg spiller varsler om en uregelmessighet. Serien handler om hvilke konsekvenser det å si fra kan få – på mange plan. Jeg spiller den som varsler. Men søren klype. Dette er alles historie. Og kan ikke få skrytt nok av gjengen. Som har inspirert meg intenst, og som jeg har lært så mye av. Nothing new here, but worth saying on this dark December day where we celebrate light: It can be difficult to become aware that we’re Captains of our own lives. Some of us keep looking to others, comparing ourselves, doing the same as everyone else because it feels safe. And we believe we need to do this our that to be accepted. I’ve done it, many times. But that might undermine what really gives me joy. . We’ve perhaps been oblivious to it, but we always have with us the power of choice. And goddamnit, we’re all good enough! By default! Like Lucy we shine of natural worthiness 😅 And today, I celebrate ME, hihi ❤️😋🗽

Serien handler om varsling i næringslivet, om maktkamp på ymse plan, og kommer på TV2 etter jul. @tv2norge @storylinestudios.no . ADR session on Norwegian TV series «Witch Hunt». It’s about whistleblowing at a work place, and what people are capable of doing in order to keep their power and positions. It premieres in 2020.

Instagram, I need help. Chili harvest. Even though we had a very warm summer, the Norwegian climate couldn’t turn many of these chilis red. Can I still eat them? How do I best preserve them? And how create spice out of it – just let them dry?

Satt i kulturhistorisk perspektiv, og også når det kommer til det mellommenneskelige. Kanskje klinger vi alle uhørbare toner vi med andre resonnerer mer eller mindre med.
