When we were discharged from the hospital after our daughters birth, we were all wearing our identification wristbands. Baby and I promptly took ours off, but Dan kept his on. He kept his on for a whole 3 weeks. The band that stated the names of his girls, the band that stated that we were his and she was here. He wore it until the last bit of ink had worn away. He is so proud to be her Dad. I am so proud that he is hers. We are so lucky that he is ours. Happy (belated because of aforementioned tiny person) first Father’s Day, honey. The ultimate Girl Dad.
