Tatiana Maslany Instagram – My name is Kanyinsola Oye, aka @shola.child. I am a rising junior at Howard University, studying Political Science and History. On-campus, I am a student organizer advocating on voting rights with an organization I founded, @thefiftyorg. Right now, I am so diligently dedicated to and passionate about one of the strongest campaigns I have ever started with my peers called #CPDoutofCCS ( @cpdoutofccs). This campaign aims to remove the presence of the Columbus Police Officers in Columbus City Schools. It is time that we re-imagine a world without police in our schools. Schools are supposed to be a haven for students, not a war zone. Statistics have shown time and time again that the implementation of cops in schools increases the school-to-prison pipeline, and further traumatizes Black and brown youth. We have to choose the students of Columbus City Schools first. That’s why I am asking you to tune into the stories and swipe up to sign the petition to pressure Columbus City School Board members not only to remove the police officers in schools but directly to meet all the demands. #cpdoutofccs #passtheplatform @passtheplatform
