#spidermanacrossthespiderverse – Last batch of colour keys from the ‘Vertical Train Sequence’ . That shot with all the spider people was both super fun and challenging to paint: the layout I initially was given only had a generic Spider-Man model duplicated many times. The rough poses and placements were there, but they didn’t have any character specificity. I was later given a big pdf with designs (mostly done by @kristaferanka I think) of all the characters the directors wanted to cast in this scene. They were so many! The cool thing is that I could decide where to place each of them in the image in order to get – in my opinion – the best composition possible for that key. Then it was just about finding a way to keep all those character readable and paint it the most efficiently possible, as time was running. Quite glad there was the T-Rex in the cast!
