Blair Underwood Instagram – RIP King! In mourning the passing of the incomparable Harry Belafonte, I am reminded of the passing of an era and another legend, his dear friend Sir Sidney Poitier. The last time I saw these two icons together, in standing next to them I was reminded of how they were undeniable ‘giants’ both literally and figuratively. I never felt short until standing next to them. Lol. Harry Belafonte was a beacon of light, love and a warrior for justice, who inspired me more than he could ever have known in addition to millions of people all over the world.
