I’m celebrating Adam today, who is such an amazing Father to our children. I could cry thinking about how I scored such a super dad and husband. (::::
When i first saw Adam, it was a picture of him with a child on his shoulders and a trail of children following him! I was immediately interested.

One of my favorite things to talk about is being PRESENT in life. I like sharing about it because I struggle with it at times! And I find that it’s a continuous journey or balance.
There’s always something pulling at us, trying to grab our attention. Work, tv, social media, news, text response, the endless to-dos… That’s why I aim to continually set healthy boundaries. Protecting what’s most important (family, time with God) matters so much.
Few things i do daily and or weekly- ( or aim to do (; )
– If I’m on my phone and my children come up to talk to me: I either pause and look them in the eye and listen, or I ask them to wait a sec and I’ll be with them when I finish soon.
– A full day off of my phone a week.
– Time in Nature with loved ones and no other distractions. 🌴

Coffee is a fun part of mine and Adam’s day!! I often have coffee with Adam, always after we have our breakfast so we don’t wreck our gut drinking coffee on an empty tummy. As we sip our coffee, we read the Bible with our boys before the day really gets moving. We love starting our day slow with a connecting morning routine.
