Bethany Hamilton Instagram – One of my favorite things to talk about is being PRESENT in life. I like sharing about it because I struggle with it at times! And I find that it’s a continuous journey or balance. There’s always something pulling at us, trying to grab our attention. Work, tv, social media, news, text response, the endless to-dos… That’s why I aim to continually set healthy boundaries. Protecting what’s most important (family, time with God) matters so much. Few things i do daily and or weekly- ( or aim to do (; ) – If I’m on my phone and my children come up to talk to me: I either pause and look them in the eye and listen, or I ask them to wait a sec and I’ll be with them when I finish soon. – A full day off of my phone a week. – Time in Nature with loved ones and no other distractions. 🌴 #technology #family #parenting #bepresent
