We got on a waitlist thinking it would be a long time like last time (so many allergies, we can only have a certain type of cat or we would adopt) and like 2 weeks later here he is. He’s the cutest little snuggle bug even if we aren’t quite sure what his name is yet. Based on his aerial maneuvers Maverick is a top contender. So maybe meet Mav? We already love him so much.

Started learning piano a little over a year ago and me and our 13 yr old had our first recital yesterday. Even though my rational brain told me there is nothing less low stakes than a piano recital in front of kids and parents who are there to clap for you and couldn’t care less of you mess up and also I am 30 PLUS years older than the oldest other reciter I was so nervous my hands were shaking. Anyway. Been loving learning, wish I had done it as a kid so my stupid older brain could get things quicker, but so happy to be doing it now. Please enjoy me sticking the landing, will not bore you with the mediocre playing.
