We cant give children ripped from their homes by war that sense of security back. We can’t erase the memories of death, bombs, and bullets. But joy? Oh yes, we can give them the ability to feel joy again. We can show them that their past and their injuries do not necessarily need to hold them back from their futures and their dreams.
