Megha Gupta Instagram – There is something strangely sacred about salt. Our sweat, tears, the sea, are all made up of salt. In the Bible, salt also came to symbolize purity, perfection, wisdom, hospitality, durability, and fidelity. I use salt for a physical and spiritual cleanse regularly. It repels evil spirits and absorbs any negative energy from a space. In this case, symbolises purification, protection, loyalty, and permanence. Salt is power. It might sound like alchemy, but the energy in places where salty ocean water and freshwater mingle could provide a massive source of renewable power. I recently discovered that I’m SALT (Single And Loving It), another version of “salt” these days 😂🤲🏻 I love when I find myself at the right place at the right time and presented myself with an opportunity where I visited Las Salinas in Cabo Rojo in Puerto Rico. Completely unplanned, turned the car around and had this adventure and I’m thankful for everything and everyone that played a part in this 🙏🏼 I’m engulfed in Indian Macarame and raw raw vast expanse of tones and tones of salt. It was hot, I couldn’t open my eyes with the Sun burning down on the gleaming white salt. The salt was burning but I felt this sacred energy in the air. Of the salt, the silence which was loud and reassuring, and immense peace.
