It’s Thursday, I’m braided up & 60 days into being 50 (GeeeSus!! 🤣)… So you know what that means!! It’s time to —-> 🛫🏝️☀️🤣
What a week. Life is funny with the peaks and valleys we, well, really by force all get to experience because life is so unpredictable…
But it’s how we HANDLE the peaks (which “the highs” of life can also be challenging because you have to learn to breathe different when you elevate… or you’ll choke up #catchthat) and the valley’s in life (& the valleys aren’t always the worst place, it may be the lowest, but “low” is where your foundation starts -so check for cracks when you find yourself there & start rebuilding #catchthat2 😉🤣)….
Wouldn’t it be beautiful if we found out how to use the same grace no matter where we find ourselves. Peace in the storm. Peace in the calm. Because truth be told, life is gonna happen and humans are gonna human and we don’t have any control over one iota of it 🤣🤣 We can only control the CEO of YOU!
So with that my friends, find your peace… give yourself plenty of grace, take a deep breath, pray and know that everything is gonna be alright … Then go hop on a flight and reclaim your peace & plenty!

Independence & Freedom Day. At 50 this means so much more to me than at any other time in my life … I remember the days when I had to choose between juice boxes for my three babies or something I wanted for myself … I can also remember when I thought freedom was in the material things of life and I was caught up with the Jones’🤣🤣 …
Now I realize that for me Freedom & Independence is the freedom to make the moves I want independently … So that when my good sister-friends say “let’s go to Cabo for a week” I’m like, say less I’ll meet you at Delta Gate 29 Besties🙌🏾🙌🏾
… The road wasn’t easy to get here, but with a plan, prayer, working the plan, tears too 🤣, it’s so worth it ❤️

Yep, even on vacation 🤣🤣
I adopted the phrase “Peace & Plenty” last year when I had to take control of what I allowed in my sphere – Peace and Plenty, or I don’t want it! And I protect both at all costs! PEACE gives me the clarity & calm I need to drive my purpose driven life and PLENTY gives me the drive – The “plenty” portion is everything I desire it to be – love, joy, peace, provision and the discipline I need to keep it all in my wheelhouse ….
I’m soooo grateful to live a life of Independence & Freedom — but it’s not “free” to get OR keep.. The cost starts in the discipline of how you want to frame your life … For me, that discipline starts with prayer & physical wellness first and then everything follows …
So yes, when your out catching dreams at 50 (Jesus on the cross 🤣) that means that your DISCIPLINE follows you everywhere you go —even in paradise.

What a pivot last week was on #FixMyFlip!!
Ok – Yes, it was a surprise that my sweet flippers had another house to sell, BUT I can only imagine how hard it was to tell me that! Such is life right! It’s hard to face the music… BUT when we do, there is a blessing on the other side!
I had to QUICKLY assess the needs of what it would take to move the house AND what a buyer would want from the house!
I immediately knew what was needed to move the property with a quickness! Remember this- you either pay now, or you pay later! It is much easier to do what’s right in a flip when you start, then to have to fix the errors at the end when you’re out of time & over budget! ESP with awkward layouts (the oddly placed fireplace, dark flex room, bland primary) STAGING is key to having buyers walk-in and want to STAY vs walking out with zero interest.
**CASE IN POINT – The buyers that purchased the property had already seen the property and said no until they came back and fell in love with it! Same house, same layout …the difference is that the love was added by just changing out and adding a few key elements!
I decided to cash out from the second house while Marianne & Kurt are just about done with the first one! I can’t wait to share pics when it’s done!

How’d you guys love #FixMyFlip last night with a flip backed up to a whole busy a$$ freeway, no AC and a way too big living room, just to start!
I’m sooo glad Sam & Jose were like @spikelee in #DoTheRightThing 🤣🤣 .. I felt real good about Sam, he was a rockstar.. Jose took a biiiit more convincing 🤣 but all in all they got on the same “PAGE” and we made a diamond in all that rough!
They weren’t too happy about it at first 🤣 (everyone always gets mad at me at first 🤣) but did you peep how I made the house FEEL “lighter” & more welcoming and not so heavy just by changing the exterior trim paint! 🙋🏽♀️
