When I was in high school, I had no idea of what I was capable of, no idea how far my talent would go. But you saw me, you saw the light I possessed and you did everything you could to convince me to go to The University of Evansville. With the help of my mentor and angel Glen Edwards. I thank you, for helping this little girl out of Vegas, I was terrified to leave my home, and for giving me the opportunity, the gift, to have an education that would forever change me. I will miss you and I’m grateful I got the chance to see you a few years back. Rest easy, your work is done.
