When I was in high school, I had no idea of what I was capable of, no idea how far my talent would go. But you saw me, you saw the light I possessed and you did everything you could to convince me to go to The University of Evansville. With the help of my mentor and angel Glen Edwards. I thank you, for helping this little girl out of Vegas, I was terrified to leave my home, and for giving me the opportunity, the gift, to have an education that would forever change me. I will miss you and I’m grateful I got the chance to see you a few years back. Rest easy, your work is done. Rutina Wesley Instagram – #JustGiveMeASmokeMachinePlusATruly 😂 My friends made me post this lol….but let’s get one thing clear, in the past 8 months I’ve had double foot surgery. Three surgeries total and more to come unfortunately. That being said, I definitely can’t move and flow like I used to, which is frustrating for me, but I try because I love to dance. It brings me life, freedom and an abundance of joy. So I’m posting this because no matter where you are in life, keep dancing, set your soul free… 🎥 @malachirivers
