Ben Folds Instagram – Hello all,
Attention DC: Ticket holders, anyone planning to attend the NSO DECLASSIFIED: Ben Folds Presents show this Friday, June 9th. We have to cancel that show. I am now testing positive again for damn Covid with all the fun that goes along with it, so I apologize from bed.
I feel like ass, but that’s par for the course – I’ll be fine soon. But the wheels of a symphony orchestra with its 96 players, the hall, the orchestrators who normally fly in… Not an easy thing to cancel and it breaks my heart. But we’re no-go.
Apologies to BANKS, Yasmin and fans as well. We have worked to get beautiful orchestrations of their music and three of my new songs, and these will see the light of day when we figure out how to make it all work again.
If you’re holding a ticket, follow the instructions below – my immune system and I apologize profusely – we will be good as new soon as possible and get that new record of mine rolled out there on tour.
