🎟️ Tickets are on sale now for a rare solo performance from Ben Folds performing his first full-length studio record in eight years, “What Matters Most.” Link in bio.
It’s been a productive first year since the launch of Ben’s Keys For Kids charitable initiative in his home state of North Carolina. Seven non-profits were selected to provide free or affordable piano lessons to kids in different parts of the state. @casiomusicgear stepped up to provide some introductory keyboards, while many fans contributed funds that are being used to underwrite the lessons. It’s just a first step, but we’re already witnessing young lives being impacted by the power of music education. Special thanks as well to the North Carolina Arts Foundation and the @ncartscouncil for their continued guidance and support. Hello all, Attention DC: Ticket holders, anyone planning to attend the NSO DECLASSIFIED: Ben Folds Presents show this Friday, June 9th. We have to cancel that show. I am now testing positive again for damn Covid with all the fun that goes along with it, so I apologize from bed. I feel like ass, but that’s par for the course – I’ll be fine soon. But the wheels of a symphony orchestra with its 96 players, the hall, the orchestrators who normally fly in… Not an easy thing to cancel and it breaks my heart. But we’re no-go. Apologies to BANKS, Yasmin and fans as well. We have worked to get beautiful orchestrations of their music and three of my new songs, and these will see the light of day when we figure out how to make it all work again. If you’re holding a ticket, follow the instructions below – my immune system and I apologize profusely – we will be good as new soon as possible and get that new record of mine rolled out there on tour.
