In my latest column for AARP’s Veteran Report newsletter, I share about meeting wounded hero and quadruple amputee, Staff Sgt. Travis Mills. Travis is an incredible inspiration and it’s my honor to share his story as a way to honor the brave men and women who have been wounded in service to our country. #linkinbio

Gary Sinise Instagram – My long time pal Dennis Quaid has a brand new very personal record that just came out. Check it out folks!
Gary Sinise Instagram – 20 years ago, in June of 2003, I made my first-large scale USO tour to Iraq in support of our nation’s service members.

On the day we departed from Washington DC aboard a Northwest Airlines 747, I had no idea the impact it would have on my life. This trip, where I was fortunate to visit with troops stationed at Camp Udari, Camp Doha, Camp Sayliyah, and in and around Baghdad, was the first of over 100 USO tours overseas and across the country that I would make in the coming years. It was a landmark moment in my journey from self to service, playing a pivotal role in the creation of the Gary Sinise Foundation.

20 years later, I am truly a Grateful American.
