Iain Armitage Instagram – And here is the whole reason I went to NYC! It’s one of my favorite places to go in the autumn, so I’m always looking for an excuse to get there. When I heard that @therealjimparsons was appearing on stage in @classicstage ‘s production of Man of No Importance, I knew I had to get there. I ended up sitting in the front row for a preview performance and it was so, so, so great! Jim is astonishing and he’s surrounded by an incredible cast. Honestly, I want to go back and see it all again! Have you seen it? Will you get to? Please let me know! Jim plays Alfie, a theatre loving bus conductor in Dublin in 1964 in this musical. And we watch as he wrestles with his faith, his beliefs and his judgements. It’s sweet and simple and powerful, and you’ve never seen Jim Parsons in a role like this.
