This photo was taken at my house. I bought these chairs from an auction because they belonged to Abraham Lincoln. We both sat in them and had a conversation. I wondered when he freed the slaves could he have imagined that one day this man would become president of the United States. Only in our America and with all of her flaws.. what a great country we live in and we must fight to keep our democracy.
Happy Birthday to you President @barackobama
A few days ago I got an extremely heartbreaking phone call from my friend, Yvette Noel-Schure. Through her tears and grief she was telling me that in her home country of Grenada, a young man that was like a son to her was murdered. My soul ached as she shared that he was a young, gifted singer who was murdered because he was gay. My mind immediately went to Mathew Shepard, and all the other victims of racist, homophobic, antisemitic, xenophobic, senseless violence. This kid was 23, how is this ok? His mother is devastated. This pain is too common – the same pain of Marcia Williams, who I’ve been trying to help to find out what happened to her son Terrance in Collier County, Florida for years now. The pain of not knowing can be crippling. It’s the pain that my sister and I carry not knowing what truly happened to my 25-year-old nephew, who we were told hung himself in prison just 3 years ago. The pain of not knowing is truly gut-wrenching. So with that said, Yvette and I are offering a $100,000 dollar reward to anyone who brings forth information that leads to the conviction of the murderer of Josiah “Jonty” Robinson. Please pray for his mother and Yvette and all of those that loved him, as well as every family who has been impacted by senseless violence.

I’m trying to hit all the concerts I can this summer. Caught up with this legend in Chicago… this woman left the stage to come serenade me in the audience. Who does that!! Thank you so much Ms. Anita. You bring us all joy. Love you.
Wow!! Took me a second to post this but it’s so hard to believe that you would have celebrated your 60th a few days ago. It’s so hard to believe you’re gone! You are so missed by all that loved you. Your voice will never be matched in this lifetime! I’m thankful for the years that we had you on this planet. Life is but a moment.
Rest well my dear girl.
It is my belief that when two soulmates walk the earth together for many many years, be it through marriage or friendship or both, when one of them passes on the soul that’s left on the planet longs for that love, that companionship, that connection. There is longing to be together again. As I think about the passing of Mr. Clarence Avant, I think about the beauty of him being reunited in heaven with his soulmate Jacqueline, and that makes my heart smile. I challenge anyone to try and find a corner of the music industry that wasn’t touched in the best way by Clarence Avant also know as the Black Godfather. His legacy will live on on the top shelf, because that’s how high he set the bar. And like every great legend, he left us all something to reach up for.
You have done all you were suppose to do here my friend and we are all the better for it. Travel well dear sir.
Sending my heartfelt love to Nicole, Alex, Ted and everyone in the family,
Tyler Perry

Can you believe that at 79 she is still rocking stages around the world, she is still in full voice, still singing in the original keys, still glamorous, still beautiful, still a legend, still the one and only Ms. Diana Ross.
I’m outside all summer long 🤣🤣

Join @kerrywashington and I this fall as we celebrate the release of her memoir THICKER THAN WATER. We’ll talk lessons learned from healing childhood wounds, how she embraces adversity, and the wisdom gained from her storied career.

This all started because I was afraid to fly. Now not only is it my hobby and it helps me relieve stress and unwind, but it’s also the catalyst that has lead me to become a pilot. Learning about what I didn’t understand freed me to be able to fly.
Just started this RC page for all the hobby enthusiasts.
My first scratch built…. Can you guess what kind of plane this is? Can you guess the length? I’m 6’ 6 tall.
