I love/hated the way he exposed me in his lyrics; it felt like love but in a way that kind of hurt. By verse two it evolved into a love letter to my husband-to-be — still yet to be cast in the movie that is my life — and in essence, is a song about the relationship between artists. Between musicians and songwriters, directors and screenwriters, poets and painters, chefs and actors, photographers and the muse, etc etc. How we fuel each other and we really need each other at the deepest, most sacred and human level, in order to keep going. #Art is the lifeblood of humanity. And the makers of art deserve to be recognized; we deserve to be paid for our work; we deserve to be supported in society the way we show up and support society. The love affair between artists is forever unfinished.
