Dayle Haddon Instagram – Our impressive intern 19 year old @griffin_storm spent two months this summer at our center in Nanyuki, Kenya 🇰🇪 working with our amazing partner on the ground @thesimamaproject_ He introduced the students to #ChatGBT , taught classes on water conservation and shared his energy, joy and enthusiasm with everyone he met. Griffin chose to be in an intensive leadership program at Duke University called Service Opportunities Leadership or SOL This program supports those students wanting to do meaningful service and thoughtful engagement with communities, developing their own leadership skills.
I asked Griffin what his take away was from his time with us…
« My biggest takeaway is that talent is equally distributed across the world, but opportunity is not. When you give a child opportunity, they can achieve far more than they ever thought was possible! »
