Hilarie Burton Instagram – Wanna hear a story about how I got started in podcasting? It’s all thanks to the one and only @amahnke . I’d become a big fan of his show @lorepodcast , and it became the thing I would listen to with my son every day to spark conversation and light up his imagination. I fangirled over Aaron on social media and told him that I too was interested in subject matter that was offbeat and macabre. I’d had an idea for a podcast brewing but had no idea how the medium worked. Jeffrey happened to be filming a movie in Massachusetts, and that man dropped what he was doing to come over and bring his books to my son and walk me through the entire business model for creating a successful podcast. Time is precious. And so when people give you their time, it is so important to say thank you. Aaron was the last person we saw before the world shut down in 2020, and his books and stories and podcasts were a life raft for us. (This is a picture from that night. Look how little the kids were!) I am so grateful for Aaron’s generosity and guidance. It was a joy to finally work together on his show @bridgewaterpod.
