Kathryn Thomas Instagram – So how cool is this? @lidlireland have created their own farm at their regional distribution centre in Newbridge County Kildare, specifically for educating children about the whole Farm to Fork experience. And even better….all the school tours they run here with @agriaware are completely free!! Helping children understand the connection between nature, the land and the food we eat is so important. So, when they’re in the supermarket with us or when there’s a plate of delicious food put in front of them, they know, there’s always a story…. Maybe it’s about the seasons, maybe it’s one of local suppliers, maybe it’s about crops or the land in which they were grown….
