One of my favourite things to do during the Summer in Ireland is to pack up the car and hit the road for a family adventure. So how cool is this? @lidlireland have created their own farm at their regional distribution centre in Newbridge County Kildare, specifically for educating children about the whole Farm to Fork experience. And even better….all the school tours they run here with @agriaware are completely free!! Helping children understand the connection between nature, the land and the food we eat is so important. So, when they’re in the supermarket with us or when there’s a plate of delicious food put in front of them, they know, there’s always a story…. Maybe it’s about the seasons, maybe it’s one of local suppliers, maybe it’s about crops or the land in which they were grown…. But the story of our food we eat always deserves to be told. #sp

I am so excited to be teaming up again as an ambassador on the EU Sustainable Milk campaign for a second year. As a Broadcaster and busy mum of two, I know the importance of fuelling your body right and dairy plays such an important role in our house.
