Had to share this behind the scenes from a commercial I shot for Lenovo.
In the audition I had to do a bicycle kick. Despite playing football for my school from a young age I had never done anything special, trick-wise. I went to the casting in between a fitting job in Battersea. I travelled to London Bridge and back back in quite the sweat but the casting director wasn’t there yet. I had to leave to get back to work!!
They were running the casting until 6 so I decided I would go back again after work. I wasn’t sure whether to bother because I didn’t think I could even do a bicycle kick 😂. That being said, I thought…there can’t be too many london actresses that have played football before!!??
Anyway…luckily they were grateful I came back and I nailed the kick every-time 😂. In the casting they threw the ball into me but luckily on the actual shoot they had it on a string 😂 👍🏼
