✈️✨ After a long flight, I’ve discovered the perfect Pilates-inspired routine to release tension and restore my body. Check out this exercise that works wonders for me!
In this video, you’ll see me standing, using the railing on the patio as support to lengthen my spine. While holding on to the railing, I smoothly transition into a squat. This move helps to engage my lower body, release any tightness in lower back and boost circulation. I roll up through my spine one vertebrae at a time and then go into an upper back bend opening up my chest. I repeat this exercise three times.
Then I drop down into a low squat which goes even deeper into the hips, lower back, spine, ankles, calf’s even getting my neck and shoulders to stretch, lengthen and open up.
It’s a fantastic way to open up my chest and stretch out my entire body. I love how versatile Pilates can be, adapting to different environments!
It’s an excellent way to reconnect with my body after a long journey.
