Serena Ryder Instagram – Over time, my relationship with Joanne grew so we’d stay in touch no matter where I was. With my career, I left home and spent a lot of time traveling the world, eventually settling in Toronto. A few years ago, I found out my god daughter Ayasha (Joanne’s daughter) wanted to move to the city. I was so excited! It was perfect timing because I had some space free up in my house, so she moved in with me and we lived together for three years. She was no longer the kid on her mom’s arm I knew so many years ago, and I watched her grow into a beautiful, smart and inspiring woman, artist and entrepreneur – killing it with her own tattoo business.
