Shaina Magdayao Instagram – 🐆 LOCARNO Film Festival, I shall see you next week!!! 🇨🇭 Elated to announce that our film, ESSENTIAL TRUTHS OF THE LAKE @essentialtruthsofthelake Directed by Locarno Golden Leopard Awardee LAV DIAZ, will be heading to the 76th Locarno Film Festival @filmfestlocarno Main Competition, the only Southeast Asian film competing at “Concorso Internazionale”(International Competition) on August 12 🙏🏻 We will be holding our World Premiere and Press Con in Locarno on August 6 as well 🙏🏻 To be able to represent the country, work with and for the great #LavDiaz and to be given the opportunity to be an instrument in his vision and masterpiece is already a victory for me 🫶🏻🙏🏻🇵🇭🫶🏻 Beyond grateful!!!! 🇵🇭 A film that I worked on last year, as soon as I got out of the #Probinsyano bubble 🌞 but did not expect that we’d make it to the MAIN COMP!
