When he invited me to join his iconic film world of Pee-wee Herman I felt like the most fortunate person in the world. Working with him I got to experience how much he cared about his art and every finely tuned nuance within the world he created. That world beautifully reflected his extraordinarily unique imagination and desire to entertain.
Once Paul brought you in he never let you go. He never missed a holiday or birthday and he always went above and beyond to shower his friends in love.
