Bryce Dessner Instagram – @thenational’s new single Eucalyptus is out now from our new album First Two Pages of Frankenstein, out April 28th. I wrote the music for Eucalyptus deep in the pandemic sent it to Matt and then forgot about it. A few years later backstage at one of the last shows of our tour last summer Matt said he had a song he’d been working on to that music but no demo. So we worked it out on stage during soundcheck and played it and recorded it that night @capitoltheatre in Port Chester, NY.
