Connect to whom you’re with. Feel your feet on the ground. Feel the air going in and out of your lungs. True connection(for me) can be felt, seen, heard & emoted and hopefully all at once. Living in that moment, breathing that same air as our little girl, hearing her tiny comfort grunts and knowing she feels safe, in that moment with us, is burned into my mind because, in that moment, I was truly present. I’d like to believe that real memories are made in truly grounded present moments. – just an aside I felt like spewing:) carry on😂
