Jim Baird Instagram – We made it to the Rockies! It was late in the night last night when we find a place to camp near Jasper National Park and spend some time this morning enjoying our campsite and the. hiking into Maligne Canyon which was just stunningly beautiful despite the multiple people on the trail this Monday of the Labour Day long weekend. We also saw a heard of Big Horn Sheep which was really cool. A lot of the best views here are obscured by forest fire smoke that has blown in from a ways away, on top of the generally overcast day, but Jasper has not disappointed.
