Peter Gabriel Instagram – With today’s New Moon comes Tchad Blake’s Dark-Side Mix of Olive Tree, as well as Hans-Martin Buff’s Atmos (In-Side Mix). Some of you already had the chance to hear the immersive 360 In-Side Mix by @buffwerk at the @womadfestival listening session.

Peter Gabriel Instagram – “I’d had a dream of a melting face, some kind of wax effigy caught possibly in a museum fire. To achieve the painterly dripping effect we used ordinary Polaroids (after Les Krims) and if one pushes around the developing picture sandwiched between two bits of plastic with a blunt instrument like the end of a pencil the image is then smeared as it develops. The cover for the vinyl album was in black and white. This is the colour Polaroid from which it was taken, without further adornment. In later years we came to prefer it” – Storm Thorgerson
